The Defence Academy of the United Kingdom (DefAc) and the Center for Asia Pacific Strategy (CAPS) signed a Defense Education Cooperation Agreement in the summer of 2023. The signing ceremony was conducted virtually between Major General Andrew Roe, Chief Executive and Commandant of DefAc, and Mrs. Hee-Eun Kim, President & CEO of CAPS.

The arrangement secures close and practical collaboration between DefAc and CAPS in the areas of scholarly interaction, cultural exchange, and cooperative research. The agreement reflects the shared values and interests of the two organizations, which are both committed to providing high-quality education and training in the field of defense and security.

“We are delighted to sign this agreement with DefAc,” said Mrs. Kim. “CAPS is committed to promoting cooperation and understanding between the UK and the Asia Pacific region, and this agreement will help us to achieve that goal.”
